A Bit About Us

Helping Pom Parents Create More Healthy Years Together

Pom Fever was created from one simple belief: the small choices we make every day can shape the quality of the years we have with our Pomeranians.

Founded by Linda Jacobs—dog wellness researcher, author, and lifelong Pom parent—Pom Fever turns complex information about canine health and longevity into practical steps that real families can use. Our approach is proactive, not fear-based. We help Pom parents look beyond food and routine vet visits to understand the everyday habits, environments, and early changes that may affect their dog’s long-term well-being.

After losing her beloved Pomeranian, Cinnamon Jean, Linda became determined to learn what might help other Poms live healthier, more supported lives. That mission grew into years of research, four dog-health books, and the Pom Fever longevity framework.

Today, Pom Fever provides research-informed education, tools, and action plans designed specifically for the needs of Pomeranians. We focus on areas such as hydration, nutrition, movement, mental enrichment, environmental wellness, and proactive health habits—without expecting Pom parents to completely change their lives or do everything perfectly.

Because loving your Pom is instinctive. Knowing how to protect the years ahead should not have to be.

Our mission is to help caring Pom parents move from:

“I hope I’m doing the right things”

to

“I know I’m making informed choices.”
